About
Synopsis
In the online game Glory, Ye Xiu is regarded as a textbook-level top player. However, due to a myriad of reasons, he is forced to leave his team. After his departure from the professional scene, he finds work as the night manager of an internet cafe. When Glory launches its tenth server, he utilizes his ten years of experience to once again enter the game. Armed with the memories of his past and an incomplete, self-made weapon, his return to the summit begins!

Butterfly Blue also wrote a series of extra chapters that take place before the beginning of the novel, collectively titled "For the Glory" (巅峰荣耀). There are currently three manhua adaptations of The King's Avatar. Two start from the beginning of the novel, while a newer series has begun adapting the Challenger League arc.

Live Action
There is currently one season of the live action. A second season has been announced. English subtitles are available on both WeTV and Netflix.
Stage Play
A stage play adaptation of the novel toured around China from January 7th, 2018 to May 25th, 2018. Unfortunately, there are no recordings available, but photoshoots of the actors are still available on the official Weibo account.
